The meaning of this race for Vicsail
Vicsail has been involved with Hamilton Island Race Week for over 20 years where we built up an amazing following of Beneteau owners. At one stage we were involved in up to 25% of the fleet representing our great commitment to Hamilton Island which we continue to this day.

From our office, Brendan Hunt, CEO, and Marcus Ashley-Jones, Sales Manager are integral to the participation of the CNB 76 “Charlotte”.
Ashley-Jones has a position of crew boss and Hunt assumes the role of the boat manager. And together, they are responsible for organising the crew, racing day to day, getting around the course, tactics. Therefore, being very competitive in the race series.
“The goal is to win, always. But our prime aim is to be very organised and to get over the line as victors at least, 90% of the time. If we can get the “gun” in every race, we would be over the moon”, says Hunt.
Vicsail wishes to have good results on handicap which is always a bonus.
CNB 76 “Charlotte” racing at Hamilton Island
Charlotte is very well prepared. She has an excellent suit of North Sails, the bottom is very well prepared with a copper coat. The owner has made every effort to prepare the boat to the highest standards.
Certainly, visually – with her size, beautiful looks and incredible sails, she will be very impressive.
In 2016, the CNB 76 “Charlotte” participated in the Hamilton Island Race Week. We ended up 4th of overall and we got the gun on almost all of the 7 races. “We were very happy with the results, last year. The cream on the cake will be to get a little bit better on the handicap as well as line honours.” adds Hunt.
