Hick 35. Hobart winning race boat

Robert Hick designed and built is enough to say ‘Performance’ but here is a boat with an incredible history. Previously named Midnight Rambler, winner of the infamous 1998 Sydney Hobart yacht race, Luna Sea has also proved a winner in Lord Howe Island and many other offshore races. The current owner has also had considerable success in harbour regattas. Cat 1 race ready, this yacht is raring to go for summer. Luna Sea was subject to a complete overhaul in 2011 with all new rigging (running and fixed), repainted top sides and deck and upgraded winches. Anti-fouled in June this year in International VC offshore paint. A bow sprit was added in 2016 and a complete survey was undertaken in 2016 for insurance purposes and is available for inspection. Lunasea is a proven contender and a really affordable entry into competetive racing. Nothing crazy about that!
