Brendan Hunt, CEO for Vicsail, and Marcus Ashley-Jones, Sales Manager for Vicsail, had the amazing opportunity to sail the luxurious Charlotte, CNB 76, with its owner and some friends. Enjoy this experience by watching the video here.
It was a final check before her appearance at the Sydney International Boat Show. The event will be held at the Darling Harbour Marine between August 3rd and 7th.
Vicsail is proud to partner with CNB yacht builder to feature the 76 feet and host current clients as well as old friends.
“Charlotte is Hull number 6. The factory is currently completing hull # 21. Charlotte CNB 76 epitomises the true spirit of CNB. She is set up as a luxury family cruising boat, with added advantage of being a set up for ocean racing or harbour regattas. Charlotte CNB 76 has competed in Hamilton Island, Sydney to Hobart while remaining a family cruising boat you could wish for”, says Hunt.
Details of Charlotte CNB 76:
Length: 23.17 meters
Beam: 6.10 meters
Draft: 3.00 meters
The Philippe Briand designed hull is fast, powerful and secure. It’s an ultra-modern design with aft chines and a sharp, vertical bow. The fairly high freeboard of the CNB 76 also makes her a dry boat. Last but not least, the centering of the weights ensures a comfortable and fast ride in choppy seas.
A powerful, well-balanced sail plan
With the rig located further aft, the CNB reflex the most modern thinking in performance yachting.
More details of the CNB at SIBS:
Sailing this boat is easy to sail shorthanded with a crew of 3 to 4 people very happy. But if you want to get full performance, it can also handle a racing crew of 14 and a cruising crew of 2 to 4.
“She epitomises the boat that everyone aspires to. It has a really luxurious interior, a really modern and sharp styling outside. It has all the best features like a carbon rig, bow, and stern thrusters and it captures everything we aspire to in the very best boats”, assures Hunt.
