This has to be the best news for the “Racer – Cruiser” genre. For the past few years it’s been a constant juggle with the older TP’s, no new exciting boats and adapting whatever comes available for a second life. Often with a dismal chance of resale. Nothing at all wrong with that, but Nautor Swan have an offer which puts the owner straight at the top of performance, with a true production boat. It has the aesthetics, the pedigree and the charisma to make it a real success.
I made a close inspection of the boat at Swan central at Kokola, Finland in December, here is why I think it will be worth looking more closely;

Build: Swan – They have taken no shortcuts. It remains a gentleman’s race boat with comfort and sparkling performance.
Fleet racing: Join yachting’s elite in a world circuit.
Price: Extraordinary value for a top line race boat. At home in regatta racing and the toughest Offshore challenge. All the choices are made, and they are the best.
Vibe: Who hasn’t dreamed of owning a beautiful Nautor Swan? Stop wishing, you can do it! Look at the presentation!
