A boat straight from the builder needs careful checking and inclusion of additional features to make her safe and adapted for her owners. VICSAIL take great care and assist owners with advice built up over 25 years experience of overseas hand overs. Brendan, who is in France for the handover of a CNB 52 lagoon to Peter and Alyssa Rawson commented: "We had a lovely trip from La Rochelle to Les Sables d'Olonne, and now Site Office is moored at the famous Vendee Globe dock, and here she will receive her final touches including lithium batteries, solar panels and Sat coms. The Rawson family have been really impressive in adapting to this major new adventure. Experienced power boaters, they handle the boat both under sail [...]
Just in from Brendan in La Rochelle, France. "Have to see this boat to believe it. A surprisingly advanced hull form with step and 2 x outboards for power. This motor yacht is right "out there". Kind of like a cockroach in appearance. But moving along, it is lightning fast and pure stealth. With so many Catamaran builders based around La Rochelle, and a really good Maritime university, it's my hunch that it's a project to take Cat design to the very edges. But you are looking for a more conventional motor cat, give us a call at VICSAIL!"

We are sure it's not all that easy, but Brendan reports that this preparation for "Site Office" a CNB lagoon 52 has been a real pleasure. It is one of the best specified boats he can recall. With good friend and experienced Bordeaux sailor Antoine Bonsch aboard, the pair headed off before light, with a strong outgoing tide for the 60 miles passage to the sea. Brendan reports that sailing down the Gironde with [...]
All at VICSAIL are most saddened by news of the passing of "Hicko". Such a good sailor, and his dedication to yachting in many different ways is well remembered. And what about his dedication to "Wild Rose", the evergreen performer in CYCA racing. Sail on sail on sailor.
